I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. It is by far the best secondary school in the skarżysko province. At present, there are more than 700 students attending our school. I Liceum puts emphasis on different fields of knowledge in different classes. Here you can specialise in mathematics, physics, geography, languages, humanities, biology or chemistry.

The school is located in a modern building. There are language labs, chemistry labs, IT classrooms and fully equipped sports facilities (a full-size sports hall, a gym, a multifunctional sports field and a fitness room). Our school offers innovative approach to teaching which includes robotics, film studies, bilingual teaching, music classes and law classes. Apart from being highly qualified and experienced, our staff is really devoted, motivated and committed. There are also two PhD teachers with academic experience.

Our history teachers put a lot of emphasis on teaching about local historic events since the building where I Liceum is located served as a fully functional German hospital during WWII, it was also in a close neighbourhood of the Jewish community district, not to mention German arms factory (HASAG) where local citizens where forced to work.

Our school has already taken part in Comenius projects with partner schools from Germany and Latvia. They were ecological and theatre projects.
